Installation

The Mobile Unit is designed so that it is easy to install. Three wires, (positive 12 volt, switched 12 volt and ground) are quickly connected with patented PosiTap connectors. All components, unit, wires, antennas, go under the dashboard. Everything necessary for the installation is included in the installation kit.. An installation guide can be found by clicking here. Depending on the complexity of the vehicle, many units are installed in 20 mintues. On-Board provides additional help in answering any installation questions that may come up.

Professional installation is also available at many locations throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico that specialize in auto stereo installation. Facilities like this usually can be found in the local Yellow Book under the heading of “Auto Radio and Stereo Sales” or “Auto Alarm & Security Systems.”
