What to Do If Your Equipment Is Stolen

 

To report equipment theft, contact the police at the local municipality where it was stolen from. Log into AssetTraks™ and begin tracking your asset so you can relay its location to the officer. If the officer requests, you should provide your log in information. You can change your password at a later time.

If applicable, you should place your equipment in the AssetTraks™ Stolen Mode, enabling it to report its location every five minutes. If you your AssetTraks™ product has a Starter Interrupt Relay available and installed, you should enable it. This will not kill the engine while the vehicle is moving; it only disables the starter to keep the engine from starting again.
